Maurice Tchenio, Chairman and CEO

Maurice Tchenio

Maurice Tchenio holds degrees from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) and Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker scholar, obtaining his diploma with High Distinction. He began his career as an assistant professor of finance at HEC, before taking a position as project leader at the Institut de Développement Industriel. In 1972, together with Ronald Cohen, he founded Multinational Management Group (MMG). In 1976, Messrs Tchenio and Cohen joined forces with Alan Patricof to create Apax Partners. Maurice Tchenio has operated in a wide variety of sectors, with particular expertise in the Retail & Consumer sector, and in every type of transaction (venture capital, MBO/MBI, turn-arounds). He is one of the founders and a former vice-president of the AFIC (Association Française des Investisseurs pour la Croissance – French Association of Investors for Growth) and a former director of EVCA (European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association).



Eric Sabia, Chief Financial Officer

Eric Sabia

Eric Sabia is a graduate of Montpellier business school and holds a BA in Management and Business Administration from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. Eric Sabia has significant experience in private equity, having spent eight years at Fondinvest Capital, a fund-of-funds management company, where he held the position of deputy CFO from March 2008, and CFO from January 2013. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Luxembourg and then in Paris, where he spent five years working as a Supervisor/Auditor in the Financial Services department. He joined Altamir Gérance in August 2016 as CFO.



Agathe Heinrich, Head of Investor Relations & Communications

Agathe Heinrich

Agathe Heinrich graduated from Toulouse Business School in 1993 and started her career as a credit analyst at Credit Lyonnais in New York. She occupied various positions in corporate banking in Paris, first at Credit Lyonnais from 1995 to 1998, then at Paribas’ from 1998 to 2000. Following the merger of BNP and Paribas, she joined BNP Paribas’ press office, where she was responsible for international media relations at group level, particularly focusing on corporate and investment banking, private equity and asset management. In 2004, she joined Paris-based private equity firm Apax Partners as Communications Director. Agathe joined Altamir as Head of Investor Relations & Communication in September 2014.
